This is an almost mint condition size 42 of the famous Schott bros. NYC style 654 Cafe Racer in hand cut Steerhide that was produced in 1968/69 and last seen in their sales catalog in 1970. This jacket has the rare blue and black collar label with the cactus that was used on this particular schott style and year of jacket, the rare slanted chest pockets adn the large Talon zippers indicative of the period. This jacket is pretty much mint condition with just the right amount of distress from it's wear over the years and yet it apparently was not worn much as the liner is like new and you have all of it's original buttons and zippers and they all work. The vintage models of this jacket are hard to find and even harder in this beautiful Seal Brown which is the New Black in leather nowadays. When I get the Seal Brown leather jackets in, they fly off the racks and out the door! Seal brown works when black is just too black and brown is too light so you have the best of both world's the rich supple color of Seal brown in Hand Cut Steerhide is what you are getting here.
